Research opportunities for undergraduate students

I am seeking strongly motivated undergraduate students who have passion for applied/computational mathematics and its various applications in computational engineering and science. The focus of the short-term (1 semester) research will be on mathematical and computational modeling applied either to the suggested problems or problems of your particular interest. This opportunity is intended for students with various backgrounds in both mathematics and scientific computations. The students will be enrolled in the 3-credit course MTH 4990 Undergraduate Research. Any experience of using Matlab, C/C++, and optimization libraries/software is a plus.

Undergraduate students interested in this opportunity are encouraged to contact directly Dr. Bukshtynov at vbukshtynov@fit.edu.
